Talented Student Wednesdays at UWT

SAB has done it again. From pillow fights to bounce houses these people are on the ball! This event however is dif­ferent this time, it is a show, starring you! Yes, this event shows of a variety of student talent every other Wednesday.

Any student is allowed to ask to per­form. You do have to of course go through SAB so they can filter the acts as to not cause any upset students. This is a great opportunity for you perform­ers out there to have some fun and find some friends who also share your pas­sion. It’s a wonderful chance for your fellow students to see you perform and see your talent.

For those of you who just want to have a great lunch with live entertain­ment, this is the perfect place to be. The event goes from 12:30-1:30 p.m. every other Wednesday and anybody and ev­erybody are welcome. It takes place in the Dawg Den in the mattress factory.

With the wonderful job SAB has done with other events it isn’t hard to imagine how much fun this is. The au­dience is kind to the performer and those of you who are worried about performing, don’t be. You will have a great time! This is the best opportunity to meet other talent on campus and connect with other people who would probably love to find some people to perform with.

I know some of you may not be con­vinced yet, but let me tell you that it is a lot of fun to just listen to some great music as you eat your grilled cheese… or whatever else you may be eating. The best part about this whole deal? It is 100 percent free! You don’t have to pay a penny out of pocket. So why not swing by and try it out? I can tell you from experience that it is worth your time.

This event is only an hour and will be a great hour, so bring your friends and have some fun. Sadly, this event is only every other Wednesday and not every week. If you huskies are around on a Wednesday around 12:30 swing by and see if they are there, and if they are, enjoy the show. I know I did.
